After much research (and debating!), we have selected a name for our little bundle of joy!! Chloe Elizabeth Eads - to be introduced in February 09! :o) We can''t wait (but hopefully we will) to meet you!
I''m feeling the baby giving my insides swift kicks now. I can push on my belly, and she pushes or kicks back!! She is so incredibly active, and becoming more so each day. She''s starting to push into a spot down in my pelvis that feels very strange...it''s not painful, or uncomfortable, it just creates a sensation that feels strangely gross to me. Joey and I have been trying to get him to feel the kicks and movement from the ouside of my belly, but he hasn''t felt anything yet. It seems that I can feel it, but that may be because I am feeling it on the inside and I think my hand feels it from the outside! I really cannot wait until he can feel her wiggling around, but I guess he''ll have plenty of that once she''s born!!!
It''s so amazing to know that there is a little mini me and Joseph being being created inside my body! I''m very curious to know what she''s going to look like...will she be a red head like Joseph was, or will she be a toe head like I was...or perhaps a strawberry blonde!! I have no doubt that she will have thick hair, as both Joseph and I have lots of thick hair, but will it be curly, wavy or straight? I''m sure her eyes will be blue or blue/green, as both of our eyes are light colored. I''m sure she''ll be very beautiful!!
We have finally decided on the crib and changing table...and my mom is working on the fabrics to do the decorating. I guess it''s about time to go register!! So many things to get and decisions to make! :o)
Much love to our family and friends!
Joseph, Sabrina, and Baby Girl Eads
This morning we just discovered that we are expecting. The look on Joseph''s face was priceless! We are really looking forward to becoming parents and experiencing all the joys (and frustrations, I''m sure) of parenthood.
We had our fourth ultrasound at our second round of genetic and birth defect testing, and everything looks great so far. Think pink...the doctor confirmed it''s a girl! The baby is moving around a lot now, and I can feel the movements and kicks. It was really cool watching the baby move on the ultrasound as I could feel her kicking and moving about. It feels like she is going to be a very active child!
We had our second ultrasound at our first round of genetic testing and birth defects. It was really neat to watch the baby move all around. Joseph was grinning from ear to ear. The doctor tried to determine the baby''s sex, but the umbilical cord was between its legs!! Such a modest baby!
