We are finally registered at Babie''s R Us! The registry is under Adrienne and Joseph Eads, and can be viewed online or at the store. Whew...that was such a process...how in the world does a new mother know what she needs for the baby?!? Thanks to Brandi who helped me figure out what was useful and what was not.
Today was our last part of the genetic testing, and Chloe passed with flying colors! The doctor says she looks like she''s a very healthy little girl. The doctor also said she is breach at the moment (the kicks to my bladder already told me this) but she should turn about 6 weeks prior to delivery. Hopefully she''ll cooperate!
Today was the first time Chloe has the hicups. I was sitting at my desk working, thinking "wow, she''s really active". Then I thought "those kicks/movements are really rhythmic". Then suddenly I realized that she had the hicups!! Another milestone!
Joey and I are deciding to alter Chloe''s middle name, but haven''t reached a decision yet. We''re doing this so her initials aren''t CEE. Joey said the too many e''s sounded like a monkey going "Eee eee eee"!!! He is so goofy!
Perhaps we''ll make it a surprise for her middle name, since there aren''t many surprises left with her. :o)
On another note, I was relaxing in the bath this past weekend, trying to relieve my sore lower back, and Chloe started kicking. I looked down and watched my belly, and noticed that it would shake slightly when she would kick! I thought that was so neat!!! It''s the simple things, really.
Joey felt Chloe move and kick last night for the first time. I had to lay on my back and he put his hand on my lower abdomen, right above my pelvic bone (that''s where she was kicking me) and after about 30 minutes, she cooperated! I think when I would tell him that she was moving, the sound of my voice calmed her, and she would stop kicking. So, we had to lay there and I was whispering to Joey. :o) It was really cute, but he was so sleepy (drifting in and out) that he didn''t react much. Not that he''s such the excitable type anyway. Hahaha...
